“breaking” point

“breaking” point Jenn, over at Mommy Needs Coffee and Mommy Bloggers, has motivated me to tell the truth. I do not have it all together. When I don’t get my solitude (or any help), I reach my breaking point. So, in the spirit of honesty and solidarity, here are the events which led to my literal “breaking” point last week. Get Over It is a 2001 comedy-romance directed by Tommy O'Haver. The film mixes concepts from Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream and from stereotypical American teen comedies of the time, the latter being a very frequent genre for a number of films at the time.

Plot

When Berke Landers, a popular high school basketball star, gets dumped by his life-long girlfriend, Allison, he soon begins to lose it. But with the help of his best friend Felix's sister Kelly, he follows his ex into the school's spring musical. Thus endues a love triangle loosely based upon Shakespeare's "A Midsummer Night's Dream", where Berke is only to find himself getting over Allison and beginning to fall for Kelly.

• Kirsten Dunst as Kelly Woods - In certain parts of the film, Kirsten Dunst's hair is a different colour to the rest of the movie. At one point in the film, her hair is blonde in one scene, before becoming ginger in the next (the scene where she and Berke Landers are playing the piano), before reverting back to blonde in the next scene that she is in. This is due to the fact that filming for the film Spider-Man was taking place at the same time as the filming for Get Over It, and her role in Spider-Man required her to be a red head.
